Biography:
Amadeo Zazueta, is the starting shortstop for the Thunder. The 23 year old hails from Culiacan, Mexico. in 2003 on a tip from Astros coach and Mexico native Jorge Orta, the Astros traveled to Culiacan and signed Zazueta. He played his first two years in the Venezuelan Summer League where in 2005 he hit 313 and was selected team MVP. In in 2006 he played for the Greeneville Astros. Last year he played for the Harlingen WhiteWings in the United League. Know by many coaches around the league as one of the best shortstops in the league. Zazueta has been coming up with big plays on defense and is among the league leaders in hitting. |
